Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Substantive Consultant in Head and Neck ENT to join an expanding team of 16 consultants. The role includes on-call duties and a focus on high-quality cancer, renal and cardiac services.

The successful candidate will supervise and train junior staff, contribute to teaching and research, and help develop the ENT service in Leicester.

Qualifications

• vast Head and neck experience
• on-call commitment required
• develop the ENT service with consultants

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train junior medical staff
• Shared responsibility for beds on wards and units
• Clinical sessions as laid out in the job plan
• Teaching, research and administration
• Develop the service along with other ENT Consultants at UHL
• Participate in the adult & paediatric on-call rota (1:16)
• Undertake managerial duties associated with patient care and running of the Clinical Department
