Imperial Recruitment Group is recruiting exclusively for pxEngineering as their retained partner on this appointment. The Senior Project Manager directs, manages and coordinates the execution and delivery of high-profile projects for pxEngineering, ensuring deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.

This role works closely with project teams, setting goals and reporting key project KPIs and metrics.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• Formal Project Management qualification (PMP or equivalent)
• Strong project experience in engineering environments, ideally heavy engineering
• Effective at planning, monitoring and reviewing
• Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong scheduling skills with MS Project/P6 and SAP experience

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into actionable plans and detailed schedules in MS Project/P6 or equivalent
• Ensure projects run on time and to budget, delivering the expected business outcomes
• Identify and manage risk, and handle changes to contractual scope
• Provide daily management of project and engineering teams, ensuring work meets px standards and contract requirements
• Write the Project Execution Plan and control contractual scope and variations
• Raise payment applications, follow up on invoicing, and ensure contractual documentation is delivered on time and in full
