Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead major capital investment projects at Ossett site and across the UK. This senior, hands-on role requires delivering projects from concept through commissioning, qualification and handover, typically £100k to £5m+ in scope.

You will own the project lifecycle, ensure safety, budget adherence and compliance with food industry standards, while coordinating with operations, engineering and external contractors to minimise

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering engineering or capital projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing projects from concept through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and change management.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and compliance in UK manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital projects from feasibility through to handover.
• Develop project plans, budgets, equipment specs, layouts and tender documents.
• Coordinate RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and OEMs throughout delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality and food-safety standards are met across projects.
• Report progress, risks and ROI to leadership.
