Job summary

GEA is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead Senior and Project Engineers delivering core business technology projects. You will oversee safety, efficiency, scope, budget, and schedule while guiding governance, continuous improvement, and strategic capability across the engineering function.

You will liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, timely design reviews, and effective escalation of risks, delivering capital projects in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent desirable.
• Project Management qualification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of the Project Engineering team.
• Deliver engineering work packages across the project portfolio within scope, budget and schedule.
• Develop resource strategies and capacity plans to meet project demands.
• Monitor performance, utilisation and delivery KPIs; take corrective actions.
