Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Platforms and Infrastructure to lead the unified Platform, Infrastructure, Network and SRE teams.

The role focuses on secure, resilient services, ownership culture, and continuous improvement across hybrid infrastructure. You will define the hybrid infrastructure roadmap, drive DevOps practices, and build strong relationships with Architecture, Security, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced engineering leader, able to build teams and deliver outcomes.
• Strong background in platform, infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Knowledge of DevOps, SRE and IaC principles is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform strategy and delivery, balancing in-house and managed services.
• Build relationships with Architecture, Security, Product and partners.
• Ensure operational reliability and proactive observability to reduce risk.
• Develop people by coaching and building capability across the function.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and modern cloud engineering practices.
