Job summary

Actian is seeking an executive Engineering Leader to drive data-centric product development in a cloud-first, AI-enabled environment. You will mentor senior engineers, shape the software architecture, and ensure seamless integration of AI-driven workflows into the SDLC.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will scale the team, optimize flows with Team Topologies, and partner with Product, Design, and leadership to deliver high-value, scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in high-growth SaaS with data platform experience.
• Strong architectural oversight and design review experience.
• Experience leading senior engineering teams and mentoring leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-seniority team of 12 and bridge strategy with hands-on AI integration within the SDLC.
• Implement Team Topologies and scale R&D architecture for high growth.
• Align product, design, and executive leadership around roadmaps and execution.
