Actian is seeking a Software Architect to design and optimize our cloud platform, ensuring stability, efficiency, and ease of use for developers. You will lead architecture decisions, drive scalable solutions, and define standards to reduce technical debt.

In this role you will work closely with engineering teams, focus on fault tolerance and cost control, and promote security by design while mentoring teammates to ship features quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer in cloud SaaS environments.
• Hands-on with microservices, containers, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve cloud platform architecture for multi-tenant use.
• Ensure system stability and fault tolerance in production.
• Create clear APIs, templates, and internal developer tools to speed delivery.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs to keep the platform cost-effective.
• Guide security by design and define company-wide standards.
• Review designs and mentor teams to prevent bottlenecks.
