Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a senior engineer to deliver coastal and flood risk projects across the UK and Europe. You will lead design teams, drive feasibility to construction, and apply BIM and digital engineering in complex river/coastal schemes.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior staff and supporting bid activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (essential) and Master’s degree (desirable) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or nearly Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering fluvial and/or coastal flood defence schemes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coastal and flood defence projects from feasibility to construction.
• Lead design teams and coordinate with UK and Europe stakeholders.
• Prepare technical project reports including feasibility studies and business cases.
• Prepare detailed designs and Works Information for river/coastal structures.
• Apply BIM and digital engineering in project delivery.
