Join a dynamic team at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe, creating excitement through team spirit and advanced technology! We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Integration to develop and specify mechanical and mechatronic systems for prototype and race cars.

The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives on responsibility, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a solid understanding of hydraulic and mechanical components. Experience in motorsport and automotive projects, along with a passion for racing, is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Conceptualizing and designing mechanical and mechatronic components in hydraulics, pedals and steering, brake systems, fuel tanks, and cooling systems
• Managing the entire project lifecycle from concept to design and prototyping
• Producing detailed designs and documentation in English, including tooling requirements
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in motorsport component design
• Strong design skills with knowledge of modern materials and technology
• Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience with motorsport parts layout and high-performance component design (e.g., F1, WEC, GT3, GT4, Rally, DTM)
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 (solid modeling, surfacing, drafting), FEM, and classical calculation methods
• Knowledge of Teamcenter and MS Office
