Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Engineer for a 3-month contract based at E.ON in Solihull. The role is hybrid, with office attendance required periodically, and involves shaping the platform from concept to production-ready status under the guidance of Product and Solution Architecture teams.

You will design cloud-native architectures, implement CI/CD practices, apply DevOps and security principles, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend and backend web tech (React, TypeScript/JS).
• Experience delivering products from concept/MVP to live production.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, testing, security, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering delivery of a prototype and scale to a production-ready platform.
• Design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions using modern development and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Define and implement technical architecture, development standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing, security controls, and operations.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Deliver integrations with CRM, data services, pricing engines, and partner ecosystems.
• Rapidly convert product concepts into working software with continuous testing and iteration.
• Support development of the future engineering function, technical roadmap, and operating model.
