Senior Engineer - Freelance - Water Infrastructure & Pumping Station Construction

Location: Bexleyheath, Greater London | Rate: £450-£475 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella PAYE only) | Duration: Long-term, 12+ months

TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer for a civils infrastructure and structures project, centred on the construction of a pumping station within a live water environment.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity, expected to run for 12 months or more, offering stability and continuity on a significant water infrastructure scheme.

Key Requirements:

• Proven Senior Engineer experience on civils infrastructure and structures projects (essential)
• Background in water sector construction, ideally including pumping station or similar structures work
• Comfortable working within a live water environment, with awareness of associated constraints and controls
• Strong technical understanding of civils and structural elements, including setting out, quality, and engineering assurance
• Confident supervising site engineering teams and liaising with design and construction management
• Relevant degree/qualification in Civil Engineering, plus CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will provide engineering leadership on site, overseeing civils and structural works associated with the pumping station build, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with design intent, and adherence to programme and quality standards.
