About the Role of Engineer:

The Senior Engineer role at Croudace is within the Technical Department, which provides engineering services to other departments across the business. The Engineers at Croudace manage external engineering consultants and produce drainage, highway, and foundation designs in-house. Senior Engineers are responsible for delivering the overall design information and assessing or producing civil engineering strategies during land viability and planning processes.

The role also involves obtaining relevant approvals such as S278, S38, S104, S106, Building Regulations, and planning conditions before issuing design packages to the Croudace Building Department for construction. During construction, Senior Engineers regularly visit sites, supporting the Building Department by addressing technical queries.

Senior Engineers support junior members of the Technical Department, lead the adoption of new standards, and stay updated with industry changes. They are encouraged to achieve chartership status through Croudace’s funded ICE-accredited training scheme and may mentor others through this process.
