Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career within a thriving, multi-disciplinary consultancy?

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in London, working across a diverse range of projects.

As an integral part of the team, you will contribute to delivering major Highways/Public Realm and Infrastructure/Drainage projects. Discover some of our projects here.

You can expect to be involved in:

1. Producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for various projects, from small to complex, both single discipline and multi-disciplinary.
2. Mentoring and managing your design sub-team, including project planning and resource allocation.
3. Participating in bidding, fee preparation, and client meetings.

Your core duties will include:

• Supporting the achievement of business plan targets through developing new and existing client relationships, alongside senior management.
• Ensuring technical standards are maintained and delivered on projects under your management.
• Promoting high standards of design aligned with client briefs and project timelines.

About You

The successful candidate will have significant experience and a passion for civil engineering.

To be considered, you must have:

• A degree in civil engineering or a related field, with progress toward a professional qualification.
• Experience managing schemes and bespoke projects in civil engineering.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE.
• Experience with different contract types.
• Confidence in client interactions and building rapport within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for your work.
• Experience in report writing, presentation, and work-winning activities.
• Leadership skills to guide a sub-team towards delivering high-quality design outputs.
