Job summary

RTL Group is seeking a Senior Engineer for a 9-month contract in Windlesham, UK. The role leads on-site engineering activities, coordinates drawings and design information, and oversees QA procedures and ITPs.

You will maintain accurate site records and ensure works align with specifications and the programme. You will monitor quality across all activities, support the Site/Project Management team with technical expertise, and coordinate subcontractors while upholding the highest health, safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS Card valid.
• Experience on large industrial, logistics or commercial construction projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing QA procedures and ITPs.
• Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.

Job description

• Lead all on-site engineering activities, including setting out and technical support.
• Review and coordinate drawings, specifications and design information.
• Oversee quality assurance procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and temporary works.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Monitor quality standards across all engineering activities.
• Support the Site and Project Management team with technical expertise.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical issues on site.
  Senior Engineer with experience on large industrial, logistics or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, steel frame and external works.
• Experience managing QA procedures and ITPs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
