Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major Wastewater Treatment Project on site. You will lead civil engineering activities, drive safe delivery, and coordinate with the Site Agent/Project Manager.

You will mentor site engineers, oversee setting out, QA, RAMS, ITPs and TQs, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Requirements include previous senior engineering on water or wastewater projects, strong civil engineering knowledge,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Engineer on water or wastewater projects.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge and water infrastructure expertise.
• Experience producing RAMS, ITPs and Technical Queries (TQs).
• CSCS card held; SMSTS desirable.

My client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a major Wastewater Treatment Project.

Senior Engineer Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities on site to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
• Support the Site Agent/Project Manager in delivering works in line with programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Manage and mentor Site Engineers and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Oversee setting out, quality assurance, and compliance with project specifications and drawings.
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering and project documentation.
• Produce and manage RAMS, ITPs, Technical Queries (TQs), and other quality documentation.

Senior Engineer Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer on water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering, water infrastructure, and reinforced concrete works.
• Experience producing and managing project documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, and Technical Queries (TQs).
• CSCS card. SMSTS is desirable.
