Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead onsite engineering activities for a student accommodation development in Canary Wharf. The role focuses on oversight and coordination, managing a team of three setting out engineers, with day rates of £340–£360.

The position is long-term, extending through August 2027 with potential for further opportunities beyond. Strong technical construction knowledge and RC Frame/Concrete experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large construction projects.
• RC Frame / Concrete experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding of construction.
• Relevant engineering qualifications desirable.
• Commutable to Canary Wharf.

Senior Engineer

Dayrate: £340 - £360 aday

We’re currently working with a Reinforced Concrete Subcontractor delivering major projects across London. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team working on a student accommodation development in Canary Wharf.

The project is a significant addition to the London skyline and is already well underway, with a substantial amount of the build still to be delivered. This is a longterm opportunity, with the requirement expected to run through to atleast August 2027, with projects secured beyond.

The Role

This is an oversight and coordination focused role, rather than a position centred around setting out. There are already 3 setting out engineers onsite that you will manage.
