Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Planner to work with the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework. A day in the life includes preparing resourced programmes, contributing to risk analysis, and producing planning outputs to support delivery across civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering / Construction, preferably within Energy
• Proficient in planning software and data analysis
• Able to support tendering and contract delivery with planning inputs

Responsibilities

• Prepare a resourced programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements.
• Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis.
• Prepare visual material in aid of planned methods.
• Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
• Provide a link between all parties regarding the planning community information.
• Define methods and outputs in consultation with estimators and team members.
• Liaise with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
• Provide the estimator with a justified schedule of temporary works and other indirect costs.
• Advise project team of required feedback reports and support.
