Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to work with the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework. You will plan and deliver on small/medium sites, ensuring work is completed on time and to the agreed standard.

The role requires an HNC Building Studies or Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree, extensive site/contract management experience, and solid health and safety qualifications. Murphy offers a comprehensive package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• HNC Building Studies or Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree.
• Experience delivering Civil Engineering/Construction Schemes.
• Extensive background in site/contract management delivering contracts of similar value.
• Solid health and safety knowledge and will hold a health and safety related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver work on small/medium sites, ensuring on-time completion to standard.
• Ensure short/medium contract programmes are planned, reviewed, and delivered.
• Monitor progress and expenditure; escalate issues to Project Manager as needed.
• Line manage Section Managers and other supervisors/contractors.
• Provide periodic updates to clients on project progress.
