Qualifications

• Significant experience in an energy-focused team, with energy projects, energy M&A or project finance.
• Ability to understand complex legal principles and apply them.
• A high level of oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage transactions and projects as part of the deal team
• Conduct and oversee specialist due diligence
• Draft and negotiate project and transaction documents
• Lead business development with the team
• Manage client work, set expectations, deliver excellent service
• Maintain high standards of client care and professional conduct
• Protect confidentiality and security of firm documents
• Stay up-to-date with caselaw, policy, and reforms
• Collaborate across teams and offices; mentor associates/trainees
