Arup in London is seeking a Principal / Senior Energy Engineer to lead design of energy generation and distribution systems through all project phases. You’ll work with heat pumps, boilers, distribution networks and energy centres within building developments, guiding multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes energy strategy, feasibility, on-site generation, and client-facing proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading energy engineering design projects from energy strategy to site completion.
• Ability to produce high-quality proposals to win work.
• Strong understanding of energy generation and distribution in building developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with the design of energy generation and distribution systems.
• Coordinate with client, project team and stakeholders.
• Evaluate energy systems commercially and produce drawings and specs.
