Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Managing Associate/Legal Director for its Energy team in Bristol. This senior role requires 7+ years PQE with experience in energy, commercial contracts and infrastructure projects, advising on renewables and related transactions.

You will contribute to the growth of the practice, manage complex matters, and operate in a flexible, hybrid working environment with opportunities for leadership and client development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' PQE gained within Commercial, Energy or Infrastructure teams
• Strong experience advising on energy-sector commercial contracts and renewable energy projects
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Experience contributing to marketing, seminars and business development

Responsibilities

• Advising on PPAs, energy regulatory matters and heat/energy contracts
• Managing complex energy projects and due diligence for funding and transactions
• Supporting business development and client relationships within the energy sector
• Collaborating with developers, investors and funders on renewable energy projects
