Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to join our sustainability team on a hybrid basis (minimum two days in the office). You will lead energy modelling and building performance assessments using IES VE and support Part L and Part O compliance.

Duties include TM52/TM59 overheating analysis and SAP assessments, producing clear reports and practical design recommendations, and liaising with project teams to improve energy performance and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in energy consultancy or building physics.
• Strong experience with IES VE and relevant building regulations
• Knowledge of Part L, Part O and overheating methodologies
• Confident managing technical deliverables and communicating with project teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy modelling and building performance assessments using IES VE
• Undertake Part L compliance and Part O overheating assessments as well as SAP assessments
• Carry out TM52/TM59 overheating analysis and TM54 operational energy assessments where required
• Produce and review technical reports and provide practical design recommendations
• Liaise with project teams to improve energy performance and support compliance
