Job summary

PT Renewables in London is seeking an Energy Engineer to join their growing consultancy. You’ll support the delivery of energy and carbon reduction projects, gather data, conduct site audits, and identify practical energy-saving opportunities alongside senior consultants across commercial and industrial sites.

This hands-on, development-focused role offers clear progression toward senior consultancy and ESOS responsibilities, with hybrid working in a fast-expanding team serving diverse clients.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Building Services, Energy, Sustainability or similar.
• Strong experience conducting or supporting energy audits.
• Experience in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
• Understanding of ESOS and UK energy compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of energy audits across commercial and industrial sites.
• Collect and analyse energy data to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Support compliance work across ESOS, SECR and CCA.
• Contribute to net zero and decarbonisation roadmaps.
• Engage with clients on-site to help implement energy conservation measures.

Are you in your energy consulting career and looking to develop your technical skills in a growing consultancy?

Do you have experience supporting energy audits and want to build towards becoming a Lead ESOS Assessor?

PT Renewables is partnered with one of the fastest-growing Energy Consultancies in the UK, looking to expand their Energy Management team with an ambitious Energy Engineer.

The Role

You’ll support the delivery of energy and carbon reduction projects across a range of clients and industries.

Working alongside senior consultants, you’ll play a key role in gathering data, conducting site audits, and helping clients identify practical energy-saving opportunities.

This is a hands-on, development-focused role with clear progression towards more senior consultancy and ESOS responsibilities.

You’ll be:

• Supporting the delivery of energy audits across commercial and industrial sites
• Collecting and analysing energy data to identify efficiency opportunities
• Supporting compliance work across frameworks such as ESOS, SECR and CCA
• Contributing to the development of net zero and decarbonisation roadmaps
• Engaging with clients on-site to help implement energy conservation measures

About you

• A degree in Engineering, Building Services, Energy, Sustainability or similar
• Strong experience conducting or supporting energy audits
• Experience working within a consultancy or client-facing environment
• An understanding of ESOS and UK energy compliance frameworks
