Job summary

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets seeks a Senior Claims Adjuster for Energy & Complex Risk Claims in London. You will manage a diverse portfolio, setting reserves and paying valid claims promptly in line with reserving philosophy and regulatory requirements.

The role leads on continuous improvements in reserving and settlement, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring colleagues to progress in their careers.

Qualifications

• University degree or relevant professional qualification.
• ACII qualification or progressing towards ACII or relevant experience.
• Proven claims handling experience within relevant business classes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adjust proactively inwards claims within your portfolio with investigation, reserving, expense/vendor management, and settlement.
• Formulate strategy on high exposure, litigated, coverage, and complex claims to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Ensure the accuracy of financials for claims within your responsibility.
• Identify, report on and present key claim issues, large or complex claims, trends and product improvements to stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop colleagues and collaborate with internal and external partners.
