The New Foscote Hospital seeks an experienced Senior Endoscopy Practitioner to lead the endoscopy team within our Banbury facility. You will drive high‑quality, patient‑centred endoscopy services and contribute to JAG submission efforts.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Competence in Endoscopy care and decontamination.
• Operators course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Safeguarding (Adults) Level 3.
• UK nursing registration/experience in NHS/private settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Endoscopy team and oversee department operations.
• Assist with final submission of the JAG application.
• Carry out day‑to‑day duties of the Endoscopy Unit.
• Deliver a safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred endoscopy service.
• Adhere to NMC/HCPC standards and professional codes.
• Monitor and support patient care throughout pathways.
• Promote best practice and evidence‑based care.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support staff training and development.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with external teams (OUH/decontamination) as needed.
