Senior Employment Solicitor | 4+ PQE | Reading

This employment specialist, highly tiered Legal 500 firmis looking for a Senior Employment Solicitor to join its department, out of their growing Reading office.

A multi-service practice with a diverse client base built over decades. The firm acts for household-name businesses, OMBs, start-ups, overseas companies, HNW individuals and well-known public figures.

The Role

You'll be joining a busy Employment team of five fee earners, working closely with partners to develop the department and support more junior lawyers.

The role offers a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work for both businesses and individuals, including:

• Settlement agreements and dismissals
• Restrictive covenants and senior executive matters
• Discrimination and disciplinary issues
• Restructuring and TUPE
• Employment litigation and corporate support

You’ll work across a varied client base spanning media, publishing, hospitality, technology, app development and international businesses.

Requirements

• Employment Solicitor 4+ PQE
• Broad contentious and non-contentious employment experience
• Strong client care and commercial awareness
• Ambitious and interested in progressing towards partnership
