Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Managing Associate to join a market-leading Employment practice. You will take ownership of complex, cross-border mandates for multinational clients and assume a senior role in strategy, leadership and client management.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified Solicitor with 8+ PQE in Employment law
• Experience across advisory and contentious matters
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong client relationship management and business development interest

Responsibilities

• Advise employer clients on the full spectrum of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
• Lead on Employment Tribunal litigation, including discrimination and high-value claims
• Handle High Court matters including restrictive covenants and team move disputes
• Advise on TUPE, restructures, redundancies and large-scale workforce projects
• Support cross-border and multi-jurisdictional mandates
• Act as a key client contact delivering commercial, solutions-led advice
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team
• Contribute to business development and client growth initiatives
