Job summary

BUILD Recruitment Limited seeks a Senior Employers' Agent to join a busy practice in SE London, handling major new-build developments and multiple projects. You will act as Employer’s Agent/Project Manager, guiding procurement, programming, value management and contract negotiations to successful delivery.

Applicants with 3+ years post-qualification experience, including non-RICS candidates with relevant on-site knowledge, are welcome. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience as Employer’s Agent or Project Manager on large complex projects.

SENIOR EMPLOYERS' AGENT

Our client is a leading multi-disciplined construction and property consultancy, providig a range of services to the UK building and construction industry covering chartered building & quantity surveying, project management, architecture & master planning, civil & structural engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering, sustainability and health & safety.

Owing to increasing workload, we are seeking a Senior Employers' Agent to work with an existing experienced team in SE London on a range of new build developments.

The candidate should be ideallyRICS qualified (but not essential), with at least 3 years post qualification experience.

We will also consider candidates who are not RICS if they have a number of years of relevant on the job experience and can demonstrate relevant knowledge acquired.

We are a busy practice with an active EA work stream, which includes major new build development sites for developers and the larger affordable housing providers, where involvement is possible for this Surveyor/EA candidate to maintain a breadth of challenge and experience.

You will have extensive hands- on experience of acting as Employer’s Agent or Project Manager for significant sized complex projects, including the private residential sector, and will be able to manage a project team and to lead the delivery of services to an exemplary level.

An ability to lead procurement, programming, value management and contract negotiations, as well as managing the construction phase are required.
