A major client seeks a Senior Employee Relations Specialist for a 6-month contract in London. This position will be hybrid and focuses on providing expert ER case management and strategic HR guidance. Ideal for candidates with substantial ER experience and proven advisory skills.

Qualifications

Senior Employee Relations Specialist

North London Office - Hybrid

6 months initially

Inside IR35

My large client is currently looking for a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join them on a 6 month contract basis and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for ER case activity in the London region.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide commercial ER advice to managers of all levels, compliant with employment legislation and HR policy / procedure
  • Provide a Case Management service for ER issues, such as conduct, capability, grievance and absence, ranging from low-risk policy-driven issues to high-risk, complex cases of dismissal, harassment, settlement and reputational risk.
  • Provide strategic guidance to HR Business Partners on matters of project activity and change, such as restructures, redundancy and contract variation.
  • Provide on-site, face-to-face support when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a Case Management function, preferably within a Shared Service environment.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in ER with high degree of knowledge and experience for the UK.
  • Experience of operating at a senior advisory level.
  • Confident in the provision of advice, and able to challenge where necessary.
