Job summary

RCK Partners seeks an experienced ER specialist to join our small People & Operations team in London. You will advise managers across the business on complex employee relations, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice while handling sensitive cases with discretion.

Working closely with the Head of Recruiting/HR Manager, you will support recruitment, onboarding, engagement and HR initiatives while maintaining an office-first policy requiring five days a week in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law (Ireland, Dubai a plus).
• Experience in professional services, consultancy, financial services, technology or high-growth businesses.
• Experience partnering with managers and influencing decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Embraces technology and AI-enabled tools while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a broad range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary investigations, grievances, performance and capability, absence, probation reviews, flexible working requests and exits.
• Ensure all matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Coach and support managers through challenging conversations and people issues.
• Run monthly training sessions on the above topics.
• Challenge constructively while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure accurate and compliant employment documentation and records.
• Work closely with the Head of Recruitment/HR Manager to contribute to recruitment, onboarding and engagement initiatives.
