Job summary

Verisure in Newcastle is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term maternity-cover contract. You will provide expert ER guidance across the full employee lifecycle and partner with HR business partners and managers.

You will independently manage complex ER cases, lead investigations, and coach leaders through hearings and formal processes. The role also involves contributing to change initiatives and using ER data to spot trends and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an Employee Relations role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Proven ability to investigate complex cases and compile reports.
• Ability to coach managers through formal processes and hearings.
• Experience supporting organisational change and using ER data for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Independently manage a broad range of complex employee relations cases.
• Lead thorough investigations, including evidence gathering and recommendations.
• Coach and support managers through hearings and difficult conversations.
• Support restructures, redundancy consultations and organisational redesigns.
• Analyse employee relations data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
