Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in Gloucestershire is seeking experienced Senior Practitioners for a permanent, part-time role in the Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIIU) within the Practitioner Led Unit. The post requires autonomy, senior clinical expertise, and a passion for high-quality patient care.
You will work across 18 hours per week with shifts 07:45–20:15 and 6-hour blocks, contributing to evidence-based care and teaching while maintaining the organisation's values

We seek experienced & self-directed Senior Practitioners with a passion and commitment to the care they deliver & who hold patient experience and care at the heart of their practice and share our organisational values. You will need to be motivated and enthusiastic in your role & looking for an opportunity to join our highly skilled team of autonomous Emergency Practitioners who deliver evidence -based clinical care in our Practitioner Led Unit.
North Cotswold Hospital has a dedicated minor injury & illness unit (MiiU) open 7 days a week. In addition to patients walking into the unit we also facilitate ledgers for 111 booked appointments and planned returns .
As a member of the Gloucestershire NHS, the unit offers a diverse range of training opportunities and is committed to personal as well as service development. We also offer the opportunity of training with a preceptor to support the transition induction period and ongoing professional development.
A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential.
