Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine doctor (ST3 level and above) to contribute to emergency care across the Emergency Care Group. The post involves leading the team overnight, supporting junior doctors, and joining 12-18 hour on-site cover with on-call responsibilities across DRI and Bassetlaw Hospital.

Essential qualifications include MBChB/MBBS, Core Training in Emergency Medicine, and current GMC registration with License to Practice,

Formación

• MBChB/MBBS or equivalent.
• Completion of Core Training or equivalent within Emergency Medicine.
• ALS (or equivalent).
• ATLS / ETC (or equivalent).
• EPALS / APLS (or equivalent).
• Full GMC registration and License to Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a whole spectrum of emergency patients.
• Assistance and supervision of F1, F2 and GP VTS doctors with patient management.
• Strengthening delivery of high-quality General and Emergency Medicine service across hospital and community.
• Developing links between Emergency Medicine and Medicine.
• Developing innovative clinical practices and subspecialty interests.
• Teaching and training undergraduates and postgraduates.
• Quality assurance of the service and individual practice.
