Job summary

The Trade Desk, a global ad-tech leader, seeks a qualified Senior Accountant to support statutory reporting across EMEA and ensure compliance with global policies. You will partner with in-country teams and external auditors to uphold high accounting standards.

Responsibilities include UK annual statements under FRS101, US GAAP to Local GAAP bridge, forecasting collaborations, and leading audits across multiple entities while maintaining strong internal controls and timely filings.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top 20 practice.
• 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• People management and coaching skills.
• Strong IFRS knowledge; US GAAP beneficial.
• Experience in multi-entity/multi-currency reporting environments.
• Proficiency in Excel and AI tools.
• Experience with ERP/financial reporting systems (Oracle Cloud) and Workiva.
• SOX controls experience desirable for Nasdaq-listed company.
• Available during early and late business hours for global time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support EMEA compliance requirements and ensure alignment with global policies and internal controls.
• Compile and review UK Annual statutory financial statements under FRS101.
• Coordinate with external parties and FP&A on forecasts and IAS 36 impairment review.
• Own US GAAP to Local GAAP bridge documentation.
• Manage US audit process across Planning, Interim, US Group and Statutory phases.
• Lead statutory audits for other EMEA entities and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
• Advise senior leadership on accounting implications of business initiatives.
• Ensure timely filings and monitor changes in accounting standards across EMEA.
• Manage a senior statutory accountant; maintain ERP ledgers.
• Collaborate with legal for company secretarial filings.
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
