THE·TEAM seeks a fully qualified Chartered Accountant to lead EMEA accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely month-ends across the region.

You will manage general ledger, consolidation and statutory reporting, coordinate audits with external auditors, and drive improvements to accounting controls and policies. Strong Excel and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent CA qualification), ideally with a background in external audit.
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with a strong foundation in financial accounting and audit.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience supporting or managing external audits and responding to auditor queries.
• Experience managing and developing an accounting team, including setting objectives, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUM functions and PivotTables.

Responsabilités

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent CA qualification), ideally with a background in external audit.
• Management of EMEA accounting operations, oversees all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables and financial reporting.
• Ownership of EMEA consolidation reporting ensuring monthly deadlines achieved and full reconciliations provided.
• Ownership of the statutory reporting books and associated reconciliations.
• Follow structured monthly close and reconciliation review process in order to complete a month-end close within seven business days.
• Preparation of monthly management reporting adhering to month end deadlines.
• Oversee the correct processing of fixed assets and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
• Lead role in evaluating, developing, implementing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures to respond to changes in GAAP, tax and regulatory requirements.
