Job summary

Zenovo is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Nottinghamshire on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite). The role focuses on design and development of secure, network-connected embedded software for production-ready hardware.

You will work with firmware, hardware, software, test and compliance teams to deliver cutting-edge products for a global customer base, within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' embedded software development experience.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ for real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for network-connected products.
• Implement secure HTTPS/TLS communications.
• Develop production-quality embedded C/C++ for real-time systems.
• Design and maintain low-level drivers and hardware interfaces.
• Support secure networking functionality and cybersecurity features.
• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews and design discussions.
• Debug and resolve complex embedded software issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation and support product certification activities.
