Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for an initial 3-month contract in Scotland (Motherwell/Glasgow), with a strong possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office weekly for nearby candidates.

You will develop Embedded C software for a benchtop medical device, working in a regulated development environment and collaborating with the engineering team using Jira, Jama, Confluence and Git to support FDA/510(k) readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong Embedded C development experience.
• Experience working in a regulated/QMS environment.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 or similar medical device standards.
• Experience creating software requirements.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Unity/CMock).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded C software for a benchtop medical device.
• Work within a regulated software development environment.

• Contribute to software requirements, design and testing activities.
