Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead embedded and safety-critical software for maritime autonomous platforms. You will own subsystems, develop real-time firmware, drivers, and RTOS components, and mentor juniors while collaborating with hardware and software teams.

Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and partners, aiding design reviews, verification, and deployment across a fast-paced defense program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in C/C++ or Rust and RTOS experience.
• Knowledge of CAN/CANFD, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet or related protocols.
• Ability to own software components, engage stakeholders, and drive roadmaps.
• Mentor junior engineers and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems for embedded platforms.
• Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers for sensors and actuators.
• Create test/ simulation fixtures for software-hardware integration.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and mentor engineers.
