Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Basildon is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to our Integrated Sensors & Protection line, developing features for defence projects with embedded systems.

You will work on C/C++ for embedded platforms, with UML, DDS middleware, and tools like Visual Studio, CMake, Git and Ubuntu Linux. A security clearance is required; hybrid working is available with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• UML fundamentals and model driven development experience are required.
• C/C++ programming for embedded platforms with debugging skills is essential.
• Experience with embedded SoC platforms such as Xilinx or TI is desirable.
• Familiarity with development tools (VS, CMake, Git, Ubuntu/Linux, Rhapsody) and with software requirements.
