Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer for a Bath-based role with hybrid working and a long-term impact. The candidate will lead development across embedded systems, work with ARM/STM32 MCUs, and contribute to real-time software architecture while collaborating with hardware teams.

The ideal candidate has strong C and Python skills, a deep understanding of embedded hardware, and experience in IoT technologies, including LoRaWAN.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C for embedded software development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex/M series MCUs (e.g., STM32).
• Knowledge of RTOS or bare-metal programming approaches.
• Understanding of communication protocols and hardware interfaces.
• IoT experience and LoRaWAN knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Fabulous opportunity for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join a well-established company in Bath. I am looking for a highly skilled senior embedded engineer with a wealth of expertise in the following areas:

Qualifications

• C programming and embedded systems
• Scripting languages, ideally Python
• Experience of Embedded Microcontrollers -ARM, STM32
• Experience working on Real Time Operating Systems or at a Bare Metal Level
• Communication protocol knowledge
• Good appreciation for hardware /FPGA
• Experience with IOT and wireless technologies including LoRaWAN is highly beneficial
