Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer for a Bath-based role focusing on wireless technologies and IoT. You’ll bring 5–10 years of embedded firmware experience, strong C programming skills, and a solid hardware understanding to work on challenging projects with flexibility of hybrid working.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with ARM/STM32 microcontrollers, RTOS or bare-metal development, and knowledge of communication protocols, with IoT hardware or FPGA exposure as a bonus.

Senior Firmware Engineer needed in Bath to join a small well established company with exciting new projects specialising in wireless technologies and IoT. Suitable applicants need to be skilled Senior Firmware Engineers with 5 -10 yrs experience and a solid knowledge of hardware. I am seeking the sort of Engineer who has the ability and aptitude to turn their hand to whatever is required. Suitable skills include:

• C programming and embedded systems
• Scripting languages, ideally Python
• Experience of Embedded Microcontrollers -ARM, STM32
• Experience working on Real Time Operating Systems or at a Bare Metal Level
• Communication protocol knowledge

Any experience with IOT and wireless technologies is highly beneficial as is some hardware / FPGA expertise. Lots of interesting challenges for a capable Firmware Engineer who wants to get stuck in and take responsibility. Central Bath location, hybrid working with plenty of flexibility.
