Scot Lewis Associates Limited is partnering with a leading Defence company to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for Malvern, in a hybrid role. You will contribute to the design and development of software for cutting-edge electronics across optics, communications and tracking/location.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with scientists and engineers to solve real-world problems, while delivering high-quality embedded software and staying at the forefront of technology.

Qualifications

• Strong C and C++ programming skills.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems.
• Experience with FPGAs and HDL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software for advanced electronics across optics, communications and tracking/location.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate requirements into tangible, real-world software solutions, solving complex problems.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Scot Lewis is partnered with a leading Defence company, helping them as they look to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a series of high profile engineering programmes.

The team are responsible for the design and development of high quality software for use in innovative, cutting edge electronics systems, across optics, communications and tracking & location.

Working closely with scientists and engineers across multiple disciplines you will be able to listen to requirements and engineer tangible, real world solutions, solving complex problems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be happy to coach and mentor junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
