Job summary

AMD seeks high-calibre software engineers to design and implement embedded firmware for AMD networking products in the Cambridge UK office. You’ll work with multiple teams across AMD sites to refine designs, model RTL, and develop high-performance network stacks for cloud and AI systems.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and deep understanding of hardware/software interfaces, including Ethernet/TCP/IP and Linux environments. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience at hardware/software interface in networking.
• Proven C development experience in commercial projects.
• Familiarity with embedded debugging techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded firmware for AMD networking products.
• Collaborate with silicon, host driver, and system test teams across sites.
• Lead issue resolution and drive complex problems to closure.
