SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics / Embedded Hardware Engineer to design the next generation of navigation and embedded electronics from Reading, UK. This is a hands-on hardware design role focused on complex PCBs and embedded systems.

You will work on electronics for navigation systems that must operate in GPS-denied or GPS-jammed environments, and collaborate closely with embedded firmware engineers in a fast-moving,

Qualifications

• Strong background in digital electronics and embedded hardware.
• Experience designing PCBs that have reached production or a qualified prototype stage.
• High-speed digital design experience with processors/SoCs, DDR memory and high-speed serial interfaces.
• Experience designing dense, multilayer PCBs yourself using Altium Designer or an equivalent CAD/PCB package.
• Practical understanding of signal integrity and power integrity.
• Experience with sensors and mixed-signal electronics.
• Strong hands‑on hardware bring‑up and debugging skills.
• Experience working closely with embedded firmware engineers.

We are looking for a Senior Electronics / Embedded Hardware Engineer to design the next generation of advanced navigation and embedded electronics.

This is a hands‑on hardware design role. You will be responsible for designing complex PCBs and embedded electronic systems.

A key part of the work will be developing electronics for navigation systems that need to continue operating in GPS-denied or GPS-jammed environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in digital electronics and embedded hardware
• Proven experience designing PCBs that have reached production or a qualified prototype stage
• Strong high-speed digital design experience, including processors/SoCs, DDR memory and high-speed serial interfaces
• Experience designing dense, multilayer PCBs yourself using Altium Designer or an equivalent CAD/PCB package
