Job summary

Kandou AI in Reading (UK) and Lausanne (CH) is seeking an Embedded Software (FW) Engineer to develop real-time firmware for their high-speed ASIC products. You will work with architects and lead engineers on design and implementation for heterogeneous multicore SoCs, ensuring robust test, integration and delivery workflows.

The role requires hands-on firmware development in C/C++, experience with RTOS (Zephyr/FreeRTOS), and board/SoC bring-up, with strong debugging across hardware and software

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded real-time C/C++ applications
• Experience porting to RTOS on embedded platforms
• Knowledge of RISC-V CPU architecture and bare-metal/RTOS firmware

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain Embedded Software for Kandou AI’s ASIC products
• Real-time firmware design on high-speed heterogeneous SoC platforms
• Collaborate with Architects and Lead Engineers to meet specs
• Provide software design support for silicon design infrastructure and workflow
• Promote best practices in test, integration, automation and delivery of quality software
