Job summary

ECM Selection is seeking a highly experienced senior embedded software engineer for our market-leading scientific instrumentation client. The role focuses on developing firmware for ARM Cortex-M MCUs, and working closely with electronics and mechanical teams to deliver precision motion systems.

You will ship firmware, integrate third-party modules, design system-level architectures, and connect with C#.NET PC software.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable embedded software/firmware experience in commercial projects using C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M.
• System-level engineering with distributed microcontrollers and module integration.
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI and RTOS environments.
• Exposure to C# .NET and SWD debuggers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for ARM Cortex-M MCUs and real-time control.
• Integrate third-party modules and perform systems integration.
• Design and refine system-level architecture for electromechanical applications.
• Interface firmware with C#.NET PC software.
