Job summary

Zenovo is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for a six-month contract, focusing on the design and implementation of mixed-signal systems for life sciences applications. The role is on-site in Luton, 2-3 days per week, with responsibilities spanning analogue front-end development, embedded hardware, and low-level firmware.

You will work on embedded C, driver development, and hardware–firmware integration, ensuring robust bring-up and testing in RTOS environments.

Qualifications

  • Embedded hardware design and system partitioning.
  • Experience with hardware–firmware integration, debugging, and bring-up.
  • RTOS-based embedded systems and firmware validation/testing.
  • Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.
  • Sensor integration and measurement systems (metrology / life science).
  • Low-power and battery-powered system design.
  • PCB design and layout (Altium Designer preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement mixed-signal systems including analogue front-end and embedded hardware.
  • Develop low-level firmware for embedded platforms and drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC/DAC).
  • Support hardware–firmware integration, debugging, and bring-up activities.
  • Validate firmware in RTOS-based environments and perform testing.
