Job summary

Zenovo is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our client in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. You will design and implement high-assurance software for real-time embedded systems, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, experience with microcontrollers and RTOS, and a solid understanding of hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART). On-site work four days per week with a focus on safety-critical development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ and real-time OS such as FreeRTOS.
• Strong hardware–software integration skills with peripherals.
• Experience with safety-critical environments and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and static analysis tools.
