Job summary

Wayve is hiring for Production Software within Vehicle SW Engineering. You will build core C++/Python components that interface autonomy models with vehicle hardware, and develop infrastructure to run and test self-driving capabilities separate from ML model development.

You’ll own reliability and performance of key systems across Linux environments, and collaborate with teams across London, Israel, and the US, focusing on localisation/navigation, filtering/diagnostics, or control/inference.

Qualifications

• Exceptional C++ proficiency with performance-sensitive, production-quality code.
• Strong Python skills for tooling, integration and test infrastructure.
• Solid Linux experience, including development, debugging and operating in Linux environments.
• Embedded systems familiarity, with experience interfacing software with hardware or vehicle systems.
• Automotive experience is a strong plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core C++/Python software components that interface with autonomy models and vehicle/embedded systems.
• Develop infrastructure to communicate with, run, and test self-driving capabilities, separate from ML model development.
• Own reliability and performance of key systems across Linux-based environments, and contribute to tooling and diagnostics for testing and validation.
• Partner with the wider org, distributed across London, Israel, and the US, to integrate changes and support releases.
• Depending on the role, focus on localisation/navigation/mapping, filtering/diagnostics, or control/inference.
