Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer in Plymouth or Bristol, UK (Hybrid). You will design and integrate analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics for high-performance IMUs and MEMS sensors.

You will work with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other teams to deliver integrated solutions across the product lifecycle, with a focus on precision circuitry and high-speed devices. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline (2:1).
• Strong theory in analogue electronics.
• Experience integrating analogue circuitry with high-speed digital devices (FPGAs/DSPs).
• Experience designing precision circuitry (op-amps, DACs/ADCs, references).
• Understanding of control theory and open/closed-loop systems.
• Experience using E-CAD for schematic capture, PCB layout and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics across the full product lifecycle.
• Support hardware integration testing, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Use E-CAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit/PCB simulation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
